Giving New Yorkers Easier Access to Public Health Insurance

Enroll NY is a free Web site that makes it possible for New Yorkers to quickly see if they qualify for public health insurance programs; Medicaid Managed Care, Family Health Plus, and Child Heath Plus. It lets them start the pre-application online and then connects them to a health plan or community based Facilitated Enroller (FE) to complete the process. No other Web site offers that!

This free, secure online enrollment tool lets individuals and families, anywhere in New York State, self-screen for eligibility, gather their information, and begin the application process online, at any time of day or night.

While other sites may offer the screening capability, only Enroll NY makes it possible for consumers to submit an application electronically, directly to FEs they choose within their coverage area.

Participating FEs (or community based organizations handling enrollments) receive and view daily “leads” that come to them directly from Enroll NY. They then follow up with the consumer to collect supporting documentation and complete the enrollment process.

We urge all community service organizations help spread the word about Enroll NY. Add an Enroll NY link to your Web site, which will direct clients to fast, online access to public health insurance.
